Castle Cake
This is the HARDEST cake I have ever made!! This is the first time working with candy melts (thanks, ladies on the candy forum for all your help and support) and the first time I have worked with royal icing (which wasn't stiff enough!). I was disappointed that my sticks were too long, but the birthday girl LOVED the cake and that's all I can ask for!!

35Th Wedding Anniversary Cake
Sorry about the "blurring" - I don't even know how to do that, but these were little photographs I took, printed very small on photo paper, cut out and attached to toothpicks for my in-laws anniversary! The cake turned out so neat and they loved it! I realized how many ways you could use your photographs to personalize a cake!! The icing is all chocolate buttercream, same shade.

Tigger World Series Cake
My daughter turned 14 and didn't really want a theme party, but I did! So I told her to pick anything! She chose Tigger! But as the party came up, the Cardinals were in the World Series, and they were playing that night! We had to modify! I hand drew the jersey on Tigger and my daughter printed up signs off the internet! Ironically, the Cardinals were playing the Detroit TIGERS, so we needed to address that! If you look closely, one of the signs says, "In spite of my tail, I'm a Cardinals fan!"

Spongebob Baseball
I think this is my 3rd Spongebob cake!! My nephew wanted baseball with Spongebob! I used the Wilton pan and followed the picture that was in one of their yearbooks to make him a baseball player! The glove is a sugar cookie and is being held up with a large jar of icing coloring! :-)

Slot Machine Cake
I lifted this idea off this website again!! I loved how the cake turned out! It was so much work, but worth it! The colofrul m&m's made the cake so FUN!! I modified the design of the slot machine to mimic our favorite Vegas machine! Again the black and red were purchased already-made from my local cake store! The slot machine (top layer) was a Wilton shape pan and was yellow. The bottom cake was a rectangle pan and was chocolate cake!

Baptism Cake
My sister-in-law wanted a cake for her son that had a shell on it to represent baptism. I found this shell at our local cake store. I am very happy with how this turned out, even though my roses need some serious practice! I always figure if they are grouped together with greenery they look good!! :-)
