I was worried about the colours the bride wanted...a green cake with indigo & dark purple accents, but I added some white roses to match her bouquet and I think it turned out quite nice!
fish covered with BC and slab with fondant painted to look like wood.
The rock wall was little bits of flattened fondant on grey BC. Fairy & lilies were fondant.

I love number and letter shaped cakes when the parents don't know what they want! This dad wanted "something to do with music" but I couldn't figure anything out on such short notice, and it was a donation on the same day as a wedding cake so I didn't want anything too intricate...anyways, it was a hit! Iced in bc.
I was a bit disappointed in this one :( I used the Wilton 3D bear pan (yet another use for that versatile pan!) but should have cut the arms off the cake before decorating...it looked wierd & lumpy around the arms. Was a hug hit at the shower, so I don't think anyone else noticed...but I'm a perfectionist so it bugged me!
I couldn't get this uploaded in time for the father's day contest, too bad! I loved the fondant prawns, hehe!
3 heart-shaped tiers covered with mmf, and the lillies are fondant too. I dusted it with lustre dust so it had a shimmer like the ribbon...too bad that never shows up on film! My fave wedding cake yet, it looked so feminine & dainty!

A customer wanted a cartoony-style moose head cake. Head cut out of an 8x12, a 6" round on top of the bottom for the rounded nose, and antlers cut from another 8x12.
My second cake themed from the paper I used to cover the board. This time I made the decos from fondant. 2 tiers with the top bigger than the bottom, like a topsy turvy cake.
