Shark
This was a birthday cake that I did for our family (there were 4 birthdays being celebrated). The tail is color flow and we celebrated while on vacation. The tail piece had to travel with us, which is why it is cracked. I was able to make the colors on the shark (from light to dark) by gradually adding more and more black to the BC icing.

Darth Vader
I just delivered this cake. I borrowed an idea that I found on this website - the flame border. Done with orange-colored buttercream with red and yellow bag striping to get the flame effect. Turned out pretty good, I think. Darth Vader is done in color flow and the background is Wilton Color Mist - the first time I've ever used it. Overall, I'm happy with it and even better, my customer loved it!

Shark Attack!!
I did this for a family birthday (there were 4 of us that celebrated birthdays in the same month). The cake had to travel for about 2 hours and I waited to put the "fins" in until we got there. Which is why they broke - traveling with two toddlers. The icing is lighter on the belly and gets darker towards the top. Other than the fins, it is all done in buttercream. I used the football pan for the shape.
