my first hummer. and what a humm(er) dinger it was to do. All buttercream except the tires. I wanted to add more detail, but ran out of time. the bday boy chose the colors.
here is a smaller, buttercream version of my dotted cake. Customer wanted only butter cream (except for gumpaste bow.) And she only wanted the top tier. So this is how it came out. Could have been better, but oh well.
Little boy wanted lightning mcqueen cookies. Since I can't legally do those,, I made lightning mcknox cookies instead. The lightning bolts weren't as nice as I'd hoped for, but overall I guess they're ok.
my first tiara cake. I used the tutorial from CC and combined a couple of patterns from here also to get the tiara design. It was a lot of fun and the mom loved it, which always makes me happy.
These cookies were for an end of the year school party. They were made to look like the school's logo(?).
Here's the top of the box cake. It was up on a bar and was hard to see. Which really bummed me out because I worked sooooo hard on it. But no one told me a head of time of course that it would be way up on a bar,lol.
This one was a doozie to do. Fondant covered square cakes with airbrushed on color. Fondant ribbon and bow. Gumpaste tissue paper, musical notes. This was for a vow renewal ceremony reception and the theme was Breakfast at Tiffany's. I lost count of the sheer number of man hours I had on this one.

This was for a little girl's 3rd bday. My very first castle cake. The icing is BC. The towers are made of gumpaste and the tops are icecream cones with gumpaste.
