This is my first cake made for a birthday party. Buttercream with fondant roses. This is a very moist ( with pineapple juice) yellow butter cake with pineapple and condensed milk filling (This is a typical brazilian recipe for cakes. Brazilians love very moist cakes!) The girl asked the roses to be royal blue to go with her royal blue dress. Any comments and suggestions are welcome! Thanks for looking.
I made this for my course 3 class, it's not the final cake... just practicing a bit. Made all in fondant.
This cake was for a couple in their 40s... Made with fresh whipping cream on top and white cake with coconut and pineapple filling.
