Did this cake for my husbands cousin the night before my wedding cake. Don't know what I was thinking but it was nice focusing my attention on something else for a while. Loved the way it turned out. Her baby's room is in pink gingham and denim. Cut into a pair of my husband's old pants for the ribbon around the wire stems. Lots of fun and the mother to be loved it too. Chocolate w/chocolate mousse and lemon w/ lemon cc.

For the bride's bridal shower. Loved doing to sqwiggly lines and the rhinestones added a nice girly touch. Chocolate bottom and top w/ chocolate mousse and a lemon center with a lemon cream cheese filling. Same for the wedding cake.
Could not have asked for a nicer bride to work with for my first wedding cake. She wanted something nice and simple and I was fine with that...although lots of embellishments cover up mistakes! :) Struggled a bit with the bottom layer (14inch.) My mmf was too thin and the cake showed very very lumpy!! Ended up adding another layer of mmf to cover the lumps. Thank heavens for flowers and ribbon right? Any suggestions would be appreciated! Bride loved it & that's all that matters! Had fun making it too!
Speaks for itself. Duck theme one year old birthday party! This cake will go down as the cake that got me my first wedding cake order! :)
My first attempt at a princess cake. The mother wanted a really whimisical looking cake and the tilting pillars added a nice touch. Note: They were tilting on accident! I didn't plan for that to happen! :)
