Gumpaste Flowers, and floating stringwork

This was for a competition at the American Bakery Expo. The flames are of gumpaste as well as the money, signs, and "ball & chain". Everyone got a good laugh from it, it was great.
This was one of my first Wedding Cakes. I made a lot of the Roses myself and mixed them in with some gumpaste sprays that I bought.
I made simple sugar drop flowers in different shades of violet and attactched them around the bottom of the cake. I also wrote mom on the top using the flowers.
