My attempt at a cake that was posted in one of the forums here (I don't, unfortunately, know who created the original). It's a 6 inch cake for a silent auction at my school - but I figured that bridal shower cakes was the most appropriate category (?). I'd love any comments/constructive criticism - thanks!

Soup Club Contribution
I didn't feel like making soup for soup club this week, so I made a pot shaped cake instead. 6 inch rounds of chocolate cake with whipped oreo icing (I didn't realize how slippery it was! I think I'll use buttercream next time). Fondant brushed with silver lusterdust, gumpaste handles. I would love any constructive criticism and comments! Thanks for looking.

Trick Or Treat Bag
Chocolate cake with mocha buttercream for my staff social at work. The sides of the bag are fondant/gumpaste that I allowed to dry for a few days. Thanks to all those who gave me advice on how to make sure the sides stay up - hopefully it'll stay this way until the social tomorrow!
