This was really fun to make! Chocolate cake with raspberry filling...my first try at a basketweave and making grass. My cousin of course had to stick her fingers in the icing, thats why its a little messed up in front.
A side view - those stained glass windows caused some problems when I baked them and let them cool without parchment or silpat underneath! I had to cut the candy out and do it again because it stuck to the pan!
This is the most fantastic mousse cake! Unfortunately we made it in a 10 inch springform pan instead of 9inch so it was a little short. Oh well, still tasted great!
White cake and buttercream...I used crisco and butter flavoring and it actually tasted amazing and came out very white!
Unfortunately I did not practice my cursive before doing the writing for this cake. :(
