Turkey Day
.Made for the family thanksgiving dinner. I used the largest oval pan, made several layers, and topped off with the football pan. Drumsticks were made from cake scraps. Iced with chocolate buttercream and then sprayed with Wilton color spray (first orange, then black) to get that "roasted' look. Decorated with real fruit. The kids walked inthrough the kitchen, saw the real turkey there, then came into the dining room and asked why there was another turkey sitting on the table!

My version of the firetruck cake. Made for the local fire dept. and patterned after their vehicle. Iced in buttercream with fondant accents. White chocolate bells and whistles painted with silver luster dust, m&m's for dials, and buttercream ladder piped over a couple of giant Snickers bars.
