A man that my husband works with took the day off in the middle of the week to marry the mother of his children. Nothing special or memorable. Their 2 months old daughter is struggling to stay alive, kidney failure and so much more. I made this little cake (6'" and 4") for them to at least have a little something to "savor". There are little pink baby booties to symbolize the baby girl and a "ring bear" for their son. There's nothing I can do to help their sorrowful situation but hopefully a little cake can at least bring a little smile. TFL.

My neighbor and I made these for Memorial Day to hand out to veterans at the watchfire. It was such a fantastic experience! We wore sandwich boards that said Free Cupcakes for Service Men and Women. Thank you for your service" In total we made over three hundred cupcakes!
This cake was fun to try and imitate the invitation. I really enjoyed making this kissy face birds. Their tails feathers are the inly none edible items on the cake. TFL!
Boy did I learn a lot form this one. I tried to place roses in the front and ruined the look of the frosting (cracks galore!) Oh well, live and learn. My friend LOVED the roses! She thought they were fake because of the "texture" which was nothing more than my fingerprints, HA! TFL.
This was my husband and my birthday cake this year. We did not exchange gifts, and instead went to the Cherry Blossom festival in DC. We has a wonderful time and this was a nice way to remember the trip. Chocolate with chocolate with chocolate! TFL.

These cakes were for two band concerts. Vanilla, Chocolate, Lemon, and Red velvet. I was not there to serve them so I thought this would be the best way to decorate them for who ever ended up hacking them up! :) TFL!

5" round for our ladies get together. I LOVE this cake! It was my first cake that I was completely (ok, almost) happy with. It felt like my "It's about damn time!" cake. It's a knock-off of a beautiful pink and white cake by Suzisweet. My first no bulge cake! There are some reflections from the mirror at the bottom of the cake on both sides of the decorating. Please feel free to critic, I'm happy to learn more. TFL!
