Music Cake
I made this for a competition. Unfortunately, I didn't win. But I did get to meet Mauro and Buddy Jr. from Cake Boss and they both said my cake was very good. That makes me happy. The 2nd tier has inlays (I don't know what you would call it) and there are fondant sculpted instruments in each one. I LOVE this cake.

Psychedelic 16Th Birthday Cake
I made this for a 16th birthday. It was supposed to be 3 tiers, but the 3rd tier for some reason didn't cooperate, so we made it 2 cakes. It turned out nice, though. I added lights and the beads were inspired from Marian Sousa (sp?) and her Miley Cyrus cake. Aside from the falling of the one tier, it was fun to make.

Carter's Disaster
One word explains why this disaster happened - Funfetti. Live and learn. Luckily, I was able to fix it by just making it a two tiered cake. It had to travel 6 hours. So, I fixed it. 10 minutes down the road - it completely crashed again. Got to my location, bought 2 un-iced cakes from a grocery store and made another one. We served the disaster (which tasted better and was more popular than the grocery store). Thankfully, it was for a very good friend. We laugh about it now...Actually, come to think of it...I was laughing about it then...Word to the wise - Funfetti no stackie....

Red Scroll
This is a small wedding cake - 8" and 6" square pan. It was inspired by a picture from the bride (which I do not know where it came from). I was happy with it, for the most part, though it was a little uneven. The bride was going to put roses on top (she wanted it the day before the wedding).

Haunted Halloween House
I made this cake for a party my aunt has every year. The roof is candy corn, the "tombstones" are chocolate, the fence is black licorice. When I baked the house, there was a dent in the back where the cake fell. I was so upset, but then figured out how to fix it - we put a witch back there, spread eagle, with a broom sticking out as if she crashed into the house. It was cute.

Brown And White Demask
This is a 12" octagon, 10" round, 8" octagon, 6" round and 4" octagon. The octagons were carved from a size bigger round. The silver "pillars" are actually candle sticks bought from Michaels - the brides idea and it was a great one! I really liked making it and hope the bride liked it as much as I did.

Thunderbird
I scupted this for my dads birthday. The window is cut out because the final cake has hinies sticking out of it, but I didn't know if that was appropriate to post. :) So, I took a couple of pictures before I attached the mooning hinies (can you tell I am a mom?). This was inspired by a cake by Debbie Brown. It was a lot of fun to make.
