This is a modfied version of several of the other cakes posted on here. My client liked different aspects of 3 different cakes....so I put them all together in one.
This customer wanted a "modern girl" themed cake that involved shopping and shoes...so this is what I came up with. She loved it and that is all that matters. The cake itself is strawberry with glaze in the middle.

These were carrot cake frosted with crusting cream cheese icing. They held up rather well. Two on the bottom though fell off after a couple of hours because the cake was so moist...no problem though, it was all eaten.
Buttercream transfer of Pokemon character...whew, look at all that shading!
This was a special request for a boy who is allergic to corn products. I had to use tapioca starch and regular white sugar to make my own powdered sugar. I was nervous, but it came out tasting wonderful and the transfer turned out better than I hoped.
Copycat of a garden butterfly cake picture that a client sent me..she wanted it to look as much like the picture as possible so I cannot take credit for the design. Thought it turned out well...mine was made with buttercream and the original was made from fondant.

This was inspired by a photo I found on Flickr...it was my first CCC and I think it turned out great. They cake was triple chocolate with vanilla buttercream. The lettering was done with candy melts.
This was for a brother and sister who had a combined birthday party...I thought it turned out nicely. Ariel was easy to decorate, but I had to come up with some other design ideas to fill in for the Scooby side, hence all the swirls! They loved it and that is what matters!
This was inspired by several other cakes...the inside is marbled with pink and green and the shells are chocolate with luster dust. I thought my transfer turned out nicely!
