Rainbow Cupcakes

DD specifically requested rainbow cupcakes for her 5th bday. I used white cake batter, colored it, layered it in cupcake wrappers, then baked. With all the colored batter, I figured a simple white bc would be pretty. These were a huge hit! Sorry for the funky shape of the pic....I had to edit out the birthday girl!

Ice Cream Cone Cake

Had to make an easy cake for DD's 4th bday as I was 6weeks pregnant. Super easy! Ice cream cones cut in half and pushed into side of cake then filled with buttercream to look like ice cream on top.

Chocolate Bday Cake

Golden Butter Cake with Bavarian Chocolate filling and Chocolate buttercream. Flowers were left over from a Royal Icing flower class (so they aren't too pretty).

Teal And Chocolate Wedding

Chocolate cake with alternating fillings (cream cheese in the chocolate bc squares and choc bavarian in the white bc rounds). Brown fondant bow. Had some trouble, but the bride and groom liked it (and didn't even notice the few issues that I had).

Dutch Groom's Cake

The groom was a soccer fan and also from the Netherlands. He wanted something with a soccer ball, the Netherlands flag, and his wooden shoes. This is a half sheet yellow cake with almond bc. The flag is fondant and the wooden shoe is really his wooden shoe from the Netherlands. It was a huge hit.

This was DD's 3rd bday cake. She wanted a pink cake with sprinkles. For ease of serving LOTS of 3yo I also did cupcakes. Cake cake with pink BC. Teddy bears are fondant (I made these because the party was a build your own teddy bear party).

Chocolate Malt Cake

Chocolate Malt Cake with chocolate malt bc and choc malt ganache. Topped off with malt balls. DH loves malt, so I thought he would love this cake. Unfortunately, I let the ganache cool a bit too long, so I couldn't get it as smooth as I would have liked.
