Brothers groomscake, he is just finishing bootcamp, and he and his wife have had their ups and downs, so I thought that this "obstacle course" cake was appropriate. The banner at the bottom says "love overcomes all obstacles" and all but the tank and flags are edible. My first time making people out of MMF. It was really fun!!
14 inch wasc with raspberry filling, 10 inch choc almond sc with mocha ganache filling, and 6 inch choc with rasp filling, all edible except for the large snowflakes on top of the bottom two tiers.
Made this cake for my nephews birthday, I also made 2 dozen cupcakes. Thanks to the many ccr's that inspired this cake. It was a hit at the party, as a matter of fact they liked it so much they wouldnt cut into him, we all ate cupcakes instead.

cake was made for my family reunion. All carrot cake with cream chees frosting and diced walnuts. Was told there was going to be 300 people so made it big!!
Both tiers are chocolate cake with chocolate buttercream, bottom tier has choc MMF and top has CMFF accents, first time making the choc MMF and I didn't get it to the correct consistency, but it was definatly a learning experience.
white chocolate cake with raspberry buttercream frosting. Made for my neices first birthday. Had a few mishaps but I was pretty happy with the ladybug.
Marble cake with choc BC frosting. I used tootsie rolls to make the tree and the "shark bait".
This was the cake that we ended up with at my brothers wedding. It took four months to plan and practice and prepare for, but the end product was well worth it. Seven two layer cakes, 3-6in 3-9in and the 12 in, all round with BC frosting and MMF accents. The flowers matched the bridal bouquets, all silk. Everyone was thrilled with the outcome, and you can bet that I was much more relaxed at the reception than I have been in four months!

This was a 9inch round carrot cake made for a girl at work. I was very happy with bot flavor and presentation of this cake!
This is a two layer 12x18 sheet cake with strawberry filling. THe decorations were my first attempt at MMF. I think this cake turned out better than I hoped for and my friend was very happy with the results.
I made this cake to celebrate all my co-worker's birthdays in May. I finally made a rose that I was somewhat proud of. Maybe someday I will be as good as so many of you on CC!
This is the cake that I made for my sons birthday. I got the idea from lswren on CC. I had a bit of trouble with the castle leaning to the side, but for a first time I am satisfied with the results.
One of my coworkers does not like cake so I made this for her birthday instead. It was really fun and easy!
