Majestic Roses

Here's a practice cake from the Course 1 book. I decided to practice my roses since we aren't doing any cakes in Course 2 till the end. My roses aren't the best because I used leftover medium icing instead of stiff, but I'm still pleased. :D

Final Cake - Course 1

Here is the grand finale :) It's yellow cake (ran out of white) with lemon filling and lemon buttercream. I definitely need to keep working on those roses. Course 2 starts next week, I'm so excited!

Course 1 Rainbow Cake

This is my first cake from course 1, there wasn't enough time to do any borders, I just slapped a crooked number 1 on it, lol. My right cloud is a little messy on the left end because I had to cover up a hole I made when I dropped a tip on it.
