This was one of my very first cakes. It was when my two little "monkeys" were turning two. :) I didn't have the right pans, or make the right frosting, and one whole end of the cake collapsed and had to be built back up, but it was decent for a first attempt.
These are the cakes I made for my little guys' fourth birthdays...all buttercream frosting
Here is the finished product.
This is the fondant cake topper I created for my good friend's birthday cake. Her nickname is Taz. He's all fondant except the candle and 2 toothpicks holding the stars to him.
This is the cake I made for my daughter's 6th birthday. She had a Harry Potter theme. It was my first attempt at using fondant. It didn't come out like the picture in the book I was referencing, but she adored it!
Here's the baby's smash cake that goes with the larger Elmo cake.
I made this for my Godson's first birthday over the weekend. It's just a freehand drawing, but I like the way it turned out.
Thanks to the ladies who had already given a Spy cake a try and posted them here to give me some idea of what to do for my son on his seventh birthday! Mine isn't as good as the original, but I gave it a try and he loved it. I had an edible image made for the text.
