Last Minute Wedding Cake
This was my first ever paid cake, and my first stacked wedding cake! I was so excited. I had many near disasters with this and had to improvise quite a lot. What stress! But I am very proud of it overall. The bride wanted something very simple. White cake with IMBC, covered in fondant, royal icing details. Satin ribbon border

Winnie The Pooh Birthday Cake
My first cake for $$$. Baby's first birthday. Made this as cake top of cupcake tree. Made cupcakes with Pooh's face. Of course everything went wrong. Notice that the cake is sagging on one side. It was an extremely hot day, the customer insisted on picking the cake up themselves, and then took hours to do so. I just wanted to drop it off as soon as it was done because I just knew it wasn't going to last! Two 6 inch cakes, stacked, BC, covered with fondant. Happy with the Pooh figure on top though!

Cupcake Wedding Cake
My sister's wedding cake. First time doing one. Totally stressed out. Lots of trial and error. Over 150 cupcakes, not sure if I'll do that again! Top tier is crooked, but overall I think it turned out ok. I decorated the stand too. Made the roses out of air dry clay. Wish I could make roses like that out of gumpaste! Still learning!

Easter Handbag
I was making this cake as a practice for a handbag cake, and just so happens it was easter so I doctored it up to be more festive for the occasion! The chick and bunny are fondant, first time modeling so don't laugh!!!. :) Also first time using luster dust and was mixing it with water so it didn't come out right. But thanks to this fantastic web site, I have since learned how to use it correctly!

Navy Sailor
First stacked/carved cake. Done for my BIL's birthday. Took HOURS! and I'm just holding my breath that it doesn't fall apart before the party today! The legs are 2 stacked 6 inch cakes. The body is wondermold cake. The head is the sports ball cake. All iced in BC and covered with MMF. I hate the way the head came out. Can someone please tell me how to cover a sports ball cake with fondant and keep it smooth! Hat made with gumpaste.
