Second version using non-edible decorations.
Borrowed another couple of great ideas from this site and this is what I came up with
Horse head made from cake and carved into shape. Bottom is some kind of handkerchief type thingy cause they needed more cake.
For my aunt's 51st bday. She loves Alan Jackson. Cut fondant into large circle for brim and propped up to dry for two days. Top is made with two small ovals and carved to look like a cowboy hat. Then covered with b/c and fondant. A small gray fondant strip is the band.
Nephew's First Birthday, my sister saw this same design on cake central and loved it! So thanks for another great idea! We gave him the cupcake off the top right onto his highchair try.....He was VERY grateful!
For my niece she wanted flowers and butterflies!
1/4 sheet base football and megaphone shaped from rice krispies then covered w/ fondant.
Helmet is carved out of 1-9" and 3- 8" rounds stacked then iced in b/c and covered in fondant. Megaphone is carved out of about 6- 6" cakes and covered in fondant.
This is our cake for the grand opening of our new town hall in our hometown.
Done for a family reunion. When we did this again we put the names on the branches and it looked much better.
Made for our retiring Mayor. City Hall is made of colorflow
