My First Wedding Cake That Is For Someone....
I was asked to do a wedding cake by my church for someone they were helping out. So I did this just for the cost of supplies. It is yellow and chocolate cake on each layer with baverian cream filling. Fondant roses and MMF for the cake. There is a lot I learned about doing a wedding cake. Please tell me what you think, good or bad that is how you learn to do better!

Sleeping Beauty
This is Maryweather from Sleeping Beauty. My sister asked me to do her for a friends birthday. This is my first frozen BC transfer. Any ideas on how to make it not look so thick on the cake? Also I tried the Americolor I just got and the color seperated from the frosting and left streeks, any ideas why this would happen? I am new at all this.

Bonnet
I was asked to do an Easter Bonnet. I really liked how it turned out, other then I will probably not try to do a Fondant rope for the border, it takes forever to roll out thin enough, does anyone have any tricks for that? I think next time I will do bc. The bottome of the cake is sugar cookie and the rest is bc except for the roses and ribbon are fondant. I love feed back! It always helps!

Sprint Car
I did this for my father-inlaw who loves sprint cars. This was my first print. I got it done at a local store. I now know to line up my words better, still not to great at the whole writing thing, any tricks? I also learned not to put the cake in an airtight container after putting the print on, it made the color run on the print by morning, so when I took it to the party the white part of the paper was a pale blue.

Present 2
I had to do 2 cakes for a b-day party so I did the 2 I learned in class. I did not think they would eat the fondant so I frosted them in buttercream. The biggest challenge I have is getting it smooth. I did 3 coats and it still is a little ruff. I did the bows in Fondant. Over all I was pleased and they all liked them. The other one was a yellow ribbon.
