3D Iron Man cake, for my son's 5th bday. I used the same directions as the 3D Spider Man cake, Thanks! The light in his chest, is a battery under the counter light, my son was so excited!
Carved from six 8" round cakes, stacked. Head is made from rice krispy treats. Eyes, nose, and tail are mmf and ears are gumpaste. Iced in buttercream.
Wakeboard made all from fondant, baby booties on top made from cake. Husband is a wakeboard champion, they are having a boy, this cake was a surprise for him.
Cake was carved from a 1/2 sheet pan, 4 layers. I used blocks spray painted black to lift it up, wheels are doughnuts, covered in mmf.
Highschool musical party
Bottle is seven 6" cakes stacked, and neck is rice krispie treats, all are stacked on a dowel rod that is screwed to the bottom cake plate, you can see the top of the dowel rod, it looks like a cork.
