Funeral Cake
This is the cake I did for a funeral for tomorrow. Its suppose to be carnations, maroon and a shade lighter for a few. They kind of look like mums in the pic but they really did turn out pretty in person. I didn't want to put to bright of colors on it or to much, wanted to keep it kind of plain and simple for that kind of occasion. I put a little scroll work in the corners on top, can't see real well in the pic either. I wanted to say thanks to everyone for the help earlier and the ideas!

#12 Racecar
Marble cake, buttercream icing. This one went with my princess in purple cake, they were for a brother and sister's birthday celebrations today. This was about all I had time to do on the car, they called yesterday around 4 PM!! To ask if I could do these for them by 5 pm today! I guess #12 is the little boys' favorite driver.

Chocolate Lovers
This is definitely for the chocolate lover, it's German chocolate cake torted with chocolate pudding, and chocolate buttercream icing! The flowers on top are royal icing with a few fondant leaves. I thought this was sweet enough already without piling more icing on top for decorations lol

Princess Cake
My first princess cake. It's a Vanilla cake, buttercream icing. I used the Cinderella cake pan. It was for a friends niece who is turning 5. They didn't actually want Cinderella, that's why I changed the colors, and did the hair brown instead of yellow and added a Tiera instead of the headband that it called for. Plus the little girls hair is brown. It say's Happy 5th Birthday across the bottom, and I added a few purple drop flowers and leaves along the board and her name on the cake.

Beach Cake
1/2 sheet cake, vanilla. Buttercream icing, crushed vanilla wafers for sand, pretzel rods with fondant leaves for palm trees. The seashells, starfish, beach blanket, beach chair and beachball are all fondant. The only thing not edible is the little umbrella. I'm so proud of this one! And I can't believe how easy it is to make, I have to thank everyone here on CC for their ideas on the beach cakes, your all great!

My First Cookie Bouquet
Sugar cookies and royal icing. The red pail was for my sons teacher, the largest cookie has her name on it. And the small coffee cup we just did up for his principal with a couple extra cookies we had after making them for his class also. Both are just filled with candy hearts. His teacher was so surprised, she loved it!

Tree Cake
The pic of this isn't so great, it's pretty dark. But this is just one I made last fall for my youngest sons school, one of a few I made, for their bake sale. I wish I had iced it in green so it would have looked like grass, instead of just putting the green around the bottom for border. I'll know next time lol

Thomas The Train
This one is a cake I did almost right after starting the wilton courses, wow, I had forgotten I even had a picture of this one lol. It was a 1/8 sheet cake, for one of my husbands co-workers daughter who loves Thomas the Train. I could live with everything except the way the mouth turned out, wasn't happy with the look of that, but the little girl really loved it, and knew what it was suppose to be lol! So I was ok with that
