90Th Birthday
This was a cake for our Pastor Emeritus' 90th birthday. This is his favorite Bible verse. They were decorating with daisies, so I tried to bring that in also. He only requested basketweave, he didn't mind whatever else I put on the cake. I hope it will be a good surprise for him! WASC with Princess flavor Buttercream Dream, gumpaste flowers, fondant binding, and edible image. Thanks for looking!

Samantha's Wedding
WASC with ButterCream Dream. Gumpaste Calla Lilies and Roses. Fondant leaves and pearls. The bride helped make the Calla Lilies, pearls, and leaves. This was my first time making the lilies and roses. We made a gumpaste/fondant cobblestone "patio" for the topper to sit on. The topper weighed over a pound and it was not flat on the bottom, so I had to dowel the top tier and have a flat surface. Thanks for looking.

Jane's Basket Of Veggies
This is a cake I made for the farm I work at. The owner's birthday is tomorrow, and the "basket" has some of the vegetables that are sold at the farm. There is lettuce, tomatoes, squash, free range eggs, potatoes, peas, spring onions, and most importantly - strawberries! The cake is a Neopolitan: Darn Good Chocolate, WASC, Double Strawberry, covered in Buttercream Dream. There are also cupcakes in these flavors with "grass" and chocolate cows to represent the herd she owns. Thanks for looking!

Pumpkin Rehearsal Cake
This is a rehearsal cake my nephew and I made. He carves pumpkins as a side job during this time of year. Pound cake with apricot glaze, covered with Toba Garrett's fondant. Please excuse the toothpicks, the fondant was thick and wanted to pull, so we supported it until it dried. Stem was fondant modeled over aluminum foil. Thanks for looking!

Tuxedo And Bridal Cake
This was for my nephew's bridal shower. I wanted to include the paper products in the picture - they matched the theme so well. Groom's cake was WASC with buttercream and fondant accents. The Bride's was a peanut butter cake with raspberry buttercream. First attempt with fondant - that is why the flower is on the wrong side - covering up a boo-boo!

50Th Anniversary
I made this cake for a dear friend of mine. The topper is from her wedding cake 50 years ago! Her daughter had also used it. It was challenging trying to come up with a color scheme, because they wanted to coordinate with the topper, and I could not see the topper beforehand. Darn Good Choclate cake with almond buttercream. Handmade fondant initial plaque. My first attempt at scrolls - don't look too closely! LOL!!
