Frozen themed cake with gumpaste Elsa cake topper, rolled buttercream white snowflakes and hard candy blue snowflakes. I decorated with all the snowflakes to cover my messy icing job on the cake, lol. Elsa's cape and accents are made out of gelatin.

Candy castle cake using the wilton castle cake set. The board is covered in royal icing, and then I dabbed it with a sponge for a grassy effect. I iced the turrets and then rolled them in rainbow sprinkles and used tropical Mike and Ikes for the bottom border, and then stuck more Mike and Ikes into gummi lifesavers for the top border. I used jumbo gumdrops and stuck the lollipops in them for trees.

Girl Monkey Cupcake Cake
Chocolate cupcakes with banana cream filling. I used the filling recipe from here http://cakecentral.com/recipe/banana-doctored-cake-mix-with-banana-cream-filling and just added a tsp of vanilla. So good! I iced the cupcakes together in all white, then projected the image onto the cake with my projector and outlined everything, then just filled in with stars and added a reverse shell border with tip 4B. This was a copy of a girl monkey design from Party City.

Artix From Adventure Quest
This is a frozen buttercream transfer of Artix from a video game called Adventure Quest. All buttercream cake. This was a bad choice for my first FBCT. Way too many details, really difficult, took about 3 hours to do, including mixing all the colors. But I am thrilled that it came out this well. I was afraid it would be a total failure.

Cinderella Doll Cake
I used the Cinderella ballerina doll for this cake. The bodice is part of the doll, so I didn't have to make that part. I added the sleeves and headband and skirt in fondant. The nice part of the ballerina doll is that it comes with a skirt detaches and that you can use to hide the doll's entry point into the cake. I did a white fondant ruffle underneath at the bottom, too, and put sparkle dust on the skirt. Pumpkin cake with cream cheese icing for my daughter's 3rd birthday.
