I made this cake for my dear friend's daughter who graduated from nursing school. The cap on top is a cake baked into a small pyrex bowl and covered in fondant.

My 18-year-old neice is playing Lucy in the local theatre groups production of "You're a Good Man Charlie Brown" so I surprised her with this cake. Chocolate fudge cake with chocolate butter cream, covered in chocolate ganache. The piping was done using whipped ganache with a smidge of the buttercream mixed in. Lucy was done following the method similar to frozen buttercream transfer, only using dark and white chocolate. Painted the blue on after the transfer was applied to the cake.

Made this for my mom's 77th birthday. She loves the slot machines and used to go with her sisters to Atlantic City on a regular basis. Boy was she surprised when she saw it. All edible decorations, except the golden dollar coins I added right after this picture was taken.

This is a cake I delivered on Saturday - I was given 1 1/2 weeks notice. It is a variation of the cake I did for my sister's wedding last year. I used a different scroll pattern, incorporating a heart into it, and I made some fondant flowers to decorate the base of the topper and the space between the top and lower layers.
I delivered this on Saturday for a client of my sister-in-law. She's a florist/balloon artist and even coordinator. Luckily my sister made an unscheduled visit this weekend and was able to help me set it up. 6' red velvet on top, 14' yellow poundcake on bottom, 10' cake dummy in the middle.
This is a cake I donated to a Children's Bingo at my church (the kids win Toys R Us gift cards instead of cash). They raffled it off as one of the fundraisers.

This is my first wedding cake - for my younger sister's wedding. Red velvet cake with Wilton buttercream recipe using faux fondant technique. The pearls, ribbon and flowers are all real/non-edible.
My sister's getting married in June - my first wedding cake! I made this top layer as a sample for her and her fiancee to make sure I could do a satisfactory job. Anxious (and cringing) waiting for feedback!
