This cake was for a New Year's Eve Wedding. It gave me some trouble and almost wound up as an all nighter, but I think it came out okay. :) Covered in fondant with gold dust paint and trimmed in black ribbon.
This cake was for my daughter's 2nd birthday. The cake topper I ordered online and wanted to keep things simple for the cake. This was my first attempt at fillings and I think it turned out cute! All the decorations are fondant.
This cake was for a friend whose son was turning 2. Thanks to fellow CC'ers for the design inspiration! All fondant decorations with buttercream piping for the web.
My son is obsessed with Transformers, so naturally for his 5th birthday that was the theme. Confetti cake covered in fondant with a couple of his toys as the topper. I'm still practicing with fondant, but my son loved it! :)
This cake was for a little friend of ours who loves baseball. The "infield" is made of graham cracker crumbs. While the other decorations were fondant or chocolate. Chocolate cake with chocolate buttercream underneath.
This cake was for my daughter's 1st birthday. The green layer is a 3 layer 9 inch round cake. I used one half of the Wilton ball pan for the ladybug on top! All buttercream decorations. Thanks for looking!
This cake was a French Vanilla cake with buttercream frosting and chocolate tool decorations. The design was inspired by kakesbykitty. I wanted to add the silver accents but couldn't find the right product. Oh well the little birthday boy, Nate, still loved it! :)
Chocolate and vanilla cupcakes with buttercream frosting and Deigo cake decorating kit I bought online. It went together nice and easy... whew!

These were inspired by a fellow CC'er and I'm so sorry I can't place your name for credit. My family loved them and thought they were adorable. They are Vanilla cakes with buttercream frosting with candy eggs on top.
I tried the Viva paper towel for the first time with this cake and loved it! But when I picked it up, the cake board bowed and cracked the BC, GRRRR! Oh well, I can't wait to try it again!
This cake was a last minute request and I being so new at decorating was a little hesitant, but I'm pretty happy with how it turned out. I have to give cricket8923 credit for the scrollwork design. Thanks for looking and I'm definitely open to any advice. :)
This is my very first try at a cake that is not just store frosting with some writing and candles. :) I had so much trouble getting the BC smooth though (as you can see). But so excited to keep trying. BC frosting with fondant and chocolate decorations
