Symphony In Blue
This was a cake I made recently for a friend of mine. Her sister was getting married and she was throwing an Alice In Wonderland themed bridal shower. She requested a Mad Hatter type cake and said the bride's favorite color was blue. she said those words we all LOVE to hear "do whatever you think fits". This is the results!

First Calla Lily Cake
This was the first carved wedding cake I ever did. I did it about two years ago, and it was also my first try at gumpaste calla lillies. The cakes were all carved, and the covered with fondant and a second layer of fondant was added for the stripes. The calla lillies were made to match the bridesmaid's gowns. The bride was a bit of a bridezilla about paying me claiming it wasn't what she wanted (she sent a pic over the net and I made no promises to duplicate exactly and worded contract to state that).

Gladiola In Bloom Birthday Cake
This is a cake I did this past weekend for a friend. The cake has gladiolas made of royal icing, then airbrushed to add depth and darker color. It also has an edible image on the cake of the person I made it for. The sides feature a triple bead border done in white and violet to match the color of the flowers.

Advaced Flowers Class
This is the end result of a class I teach fMichael's. The last class I taught I had one student and this was her final cake after 6 weeks of work. It contains more than 20 types of flowers that we created in the class and then the last session I helped her assemble the cake andshe arranged the flowers she'd made over the last 5 weeks.
