Anniversary Cake
I made this cake for a friend who is celebrating his 14th year anniversary clean and sober at AA. He asks me to make his cake every year and I always make it large enough to feed his whole meeting! This is yellow cake with buttercream filling, and fondant on the outside. Flowers are silk. Edible light lime green pearls in the center of the black polka dots match the flowers.

Birthday Cake
I made this little cake ( only a double layer 6") for the granparents of the Bat Mitzvah girl. The customer asked me to make an extra small cake to celebrate the granparent's birthday. I actually used the left over fondant and cake fromt he big cake I made for the Bat Mitzvah! I made the bow out of gumpaste a few days ago, and just used it for this cake!

Chocolate Mint Birthday Cake
My husbands co-worker wanted a cake for her birthday. She requested a cake with her FAVORITE candy on or in it...Andes Mints! She also LOVES chocolate mint flavored ANYTHING...so, I came up with this cake. It's a double layer devils food, with chocolate mint frosting and filling. The sides of the cake are Andes mints, and the top is milk chocolate curls. Mint leaves were added to the top also. It smelled wonderful!

Golfcake.jpg
I was inspired by a fellow user on CC by the name of "fytar". I saw her cake when I looked up golf cakes for ideas. This cake was made for my husband's coworker who is retiring from work. Chocolate cake and chocolate icing. Golf ball is pound cake. Thanks SO much for your wonderful idea! Everyone LOVED this cake!

Polka Dot Graduation Cake
I made this cake for my niece's graduation party. It was my FIRST TIME using MMF from the recipe from this site! I always HATED the way Wilton's Fondant tasted, so I was dying to try this recipe! It was GREAT to work with! It handled so beautifully, and looks wonderful, and tastes good too.All in all, I really happy with this one! TFL!

Card Cake
I made this cake for my husband's co worker who was retiring. He loves to gamble and play cards. Icing is buttercream. The little card table on top of the cake is actually a little key chain I found. It opens up and has miniature cards and poker chips that can actually be played with! I thought the green color of the icing was really gross at first, but I didn't mind it so much once I got the cards, poker chips and money on it.
