Celebration Cake For Kindy
I made this cake for my son Kindy. One of his teachers was receiving a national teaching award. The bottom cake represents the outside of the Kindy. We have a bamboo fence around a garden and we put the plastic shoves the kids play with in the top of the bamboo to dry. So that is what the red, yellow and blue things are. The top tier is just coat racks with kids coats and hats etc on. The top has Denise at her desk (she is the Kindy administrator too), performing with her puppets, talking on the phone and doing paperwork

Here is my latest cake. The bride wanted herself and future hubby in their Bridal gear wearing their back packs. They meet in Malaysia while back packing, she is an Aussie and he is Swiss so we decided to have a sign post with all three countries on it on it. I added details like maps, book on Aussie and Sweden, flags and labels etc for the packs in Edible image. She wanted to tie in the Wedding theme of Black Bamboo and Lilies so I made bamboo for the outside of the cake.

I made this cake for my friend Nati...yes that Nati...the CC legend! I made a cake that was a wee bit soft for the fondant and the whole cake sunk under the weight of the fondant! Ahhhh. I learnt a lot making this cake and although I was dissapointed with the finish I was happy with the design. The three characters are Nati, Fran and myself. I put the three of us on it because a year ago today we met Fran and soon after became the 3 cakertiers , Nati and I are making tea and Fran is wanting coffee.
