OMG!! This cake was SO much fun! Thanks to all the cc'ers that gave great tips and inspiration for this one! This was for a first grade class Thanksgiving party. The base is an 11x15 cut to the shape of an oval glass rounded bottom pyrex bowl I have, which is the top of the body. The wings and drumsticks are from the mini wondermold pan with ice cream cones coming out the ends and iced with buttercream. The frills are just made out of computer paper and the dressing is cut up cake scraps from carving!

Gone Fishin'
This was a 9-year old boy's birthday cake. For his party, he and his buddies went down to the pond to go fishing. Lots of fun with this one! My husband chuckled at me because Bryan wanted Ms Tonya's yellow cake with strawberry filling! I'm sure it was a pleasant site while being cut. This was carved out of an 11x15, I drew it out on parchement first, cut the shape and laid it on the cake to cut it out. The body was domed up with buttercream and "scales" were made with the coupler end of a tip.
