I wanted a more grown up yet girly cake for my 9 year old with a carnival/party theme. The dark colour looks red on the photos but was actually a deep pink. I loved doing the pinwheels - thanks to the people on CC that have posted bunting & pinwheel cakes for the inspiration

The cream cheese topping on these carrot muffins gives a great snow look and is extremely tasty. The Santa figure is totally edible, modelling fondant. Great fun!
Chocolate cake covered with camoflauge pattern fondant which took two goes but I think it worked well in the end. Figures made from modelling fondant. Inscription & militry map printed using edible inks on icing sheets.

Golden wedding anniversary cake. All edible except diamante "50" topper. All ivory roses and board covering brushed with gold lustre but this isn't visible in the photos
The final version of my bride & groom. I've loved every minute of doing these - and there was alot of them! Everything's edible apart from the tiara and silver part of the necklace. All modelling paste.

This is my first try at a fondant wedding topper. Lots of improvment needed before the big day but just thought I'd share. Any tips on making clothes from fondant would be greatly received by the way. Struggling with the groom's jacket!
Done for a fishing nut who takes his faithful dog & playful pup with him. All fondant except fishing rod & line. Not sure if you can see the water dripping on the line & the pup's paws - this was achieved with droplets of piping gel. Great fun to do.
Made for a little boy who is a huge Tottenham Hotspur fan. The Wembley backdrop is an edible image, all decorations are fondant.The framed picture is actually an edible image of the boy superimposed onto a picture of this favourite player. Other photo is the back of the shirt with the boy's name & age.

My first attempt at making a feather/starburst topper. Still not sure if I did it right but it seemed to work out OK. Also first time trying zebra stripes - lots of fun doing this one. Great fun
Made to celebrate my daughters princess makeover party. Back of throne made from modelling fondant with royal icing to make the "engraving", painted with gold lustre and hologram gold. Made for a little princess' birthday. She wanted Tinkerbelle, Ariel & Nemo featured somewhere on it. She saw my Rapunzel cake at her friends party so wanted one for herself. Vaniila sponge,raspberry & buttercream filling. All decor is sugarpaste/modelling paste - everything is edible except Tink's wand!
