My first cupcake bouquet. Thanks to cambo for the great idea and tutorial! These are 17 mini cupcakes - doctored cake mix & Pastry Pride frosting. It survived a trip in the back of a van with no shocks! Eek! I held it in my hand the entire trip, all of 10 minutes. My sister and niece each want two of these this month. Yippee!
My second attempt at a castle, much better than the first, mainly because I took my time with this one. A 2-day project, and I made it... just because... haha. 6- and 10-inch rounds, all Wilton buttercream (half-butter, half-crisco). 4 pounds of sugar just in the frosting! And still I ran out, otherwise I would've added windows. It was a good learning experience, and my niece and nephew loved it.

Preschool bday cake for my niece and 4 classmates. I wasn't even going to attempt writing all their names on this half-sheet, so I made chocolate balloons with their names on it instead. My SIL will insert the balloons into the cake at the party. Hope she gets a good pic for me! Dora, Diego, and Boots are fbct's. Cake iced with Pastry Pride.

my nephew's 2nd birthday. i was really proud of this one, especially the writing!
the store was out of the small grass tip, so i got the large one instead. didn't really like how the grass turned out and wish i had used a bigger tip for writing.
