This was a cake I had done for my son's wedding. He insisted that I make their cake and I must say it turned out pretty good. Their colors were blue and brown and the bride carried cala lilies in her bouquet. So she asked me to coordinate according to her color scheme and flowers.
This cake was for a pastor and an associate pastor at the church. I actually seen a cake similar to this on this site (can't remember who it was) and would like to thank them for the idea. This was the first cake I have done with fondant. Bottom layer is choc. w/bavarian cream filling, the middle cake is white w/strawberry filling, and the top tier is choc. w/buttercream filling. Silk flowers were used to decorate. TFL.
