this is just an attempt at this little guy....he came out way too pale! and his eyes got a little big on me too! I need to make about 6 of these but wanted to "try" first....may be dumping this idea all together! ...Ive since given him a belly button and eye lashes!
this was made for a very close friend.....i make her cakes and she pays me in cake pans!!! perfect relationship!! haha......I call her mama goose when she gets ...well quite goosey! haha
this was for my cousin's birthday....she was SO excited! She has worked very hard to get through school and master her masters! Has landed a great job and is now aiming for her big coach bag and bmw! so I thought I'd help her and give her a cake version!! haha.. my "C"s are awful...it was 4 in the morning and well...theyre just plain frustrating! hahah
made 50 of these for the kids to take to school.... the kids asked me to make both cupcakes and cookies for their classes....so I topped each with mini star cookies with fondant haha.....easy way out for sure!
made more of these....but changed them up a littl ebit....added the glitter edge on the wings and flowed the gown a little bit
thats what the twins call them! the kids eat these faster than I can make them!! I made 40 of these little guys for my husband to give out at work....40...I was aiming for plain and simple...I think I nailed it hahaha! busy weekend this weekend!!
here is my entry for this coming week in the Wilton Cookie Contest......the base is a 6inch gingerbread cookie, and the gingerbread chair is 3 inches high. Santa, tree and all the details are mmf......hint hint voting for him starts Tues 12-18 if you wanna help me win!!
part of a bunch that went to the kids sunday school teachers......I had icing issues and an hour to do these!
Our daughter had a school project(kindergarten)....they had to construct a "home" with their mom/dad.....I'm being very honest when I say ...she had the idea in her head I just helped get it on the board! ....she was ready to break out the gingerbread but I suggested we go a graham cracker route! She said she wanted a triangle roof and even bossed...i mean suggested how I do it....she wanted snow, because it NEVER snows here... she wanted a xmas bow, and bricks....she attached all the bricks herself ....ok so maybe I added a FEW touches here and there to the whole thing .....after she went to bed......hah she is so so excited to take this to her class today! Its only 6in wide and 5in high!!

this is my first elf...so he needs some work A friend asked me to make an Elf....so I did...and now i have a cake idea for him ...right after I make a couple more of him! hahah......so a christmas elf cake is yet to come ....sometime this week!

She asked for something with or about m&ms!! So we're giving her a gift full of M&M's!!! I used the bottom tier of flcikr member abbietabbie's beautiful "tiers and daisy" cake for inspiration for decorating my "box"

this was for my mother-in-laws birthday....I call it "Nana's Love"...I tried to include as many of the things the kids LOVE to do with their Nannie. cake 2 of the pink and brown baby block- girl side. the two cakes set next to each other read "baby girl" ....I've done this block a few times it seems to be a favorite! but I got the original idea from one of Boweens cakes.
I know its plain...haha.....I got the order late last night for noon today! The mom is adding WWE toys to it (thats what the gaps on the board sides are for ; ) I wanted to add logos and stuff and it was weird not making figures for it.....but I didnt even get it baked until 11pm last night!
