My husbands office brings in a birthday cake each month for all the employees, they have recently asked me to supply the cakes. This is my second one for them. The cake is a strawberry cake from scratch with a whipped cream strawberry filling. It is iced in Italian Meringue and all decorations are MMF. blue stripes and balls are dusted with pearl luster.

My first time making a gum paste bow. It's also my first paid cake, overall I'm happy with it but I don't like the little bubbles in the icing (which is Italian Meringue). Luckily it's for a friend of the family.
