Buttercream icing, fondant flames and cookies for the wheels. This is the second skateboard I've make for this boy. I think he likes them.
This was a new technique for me and it was so easy and fun to do. BC icing and green and blue coarse sugar. All you do is dip a cookie cutter into the icing the in the sugar and the back into the icing. I got the idea from a Betty Crocker cake decorating book.

This was by far the hardest cake I've made so far. Turned out pretty good but didn't like the results of the painted gold luster. Bottom tier is a MMF covered dummy and top was chocolate cake covered in MMF.
Made this for a friends parents 70th birthday. They loved it so much that it ended up being the center piece. Chocolate and white cakes with BC. The plate and props were all found at the dollar store.
This is my first BCT and I loved it. Need to work on it still but wow, how cool is it. I was doing color flow before for these types of pictures and it was alot harder to transfer it once it was done. This was for my husband and he loved that it was exactly like his bike. It was a white cake with chocolate icing and chocolate pudding in the middle.
Like my chocolate one this is bc roses on a white cake with vanilla pudding in the middle. Loved this cake, I think it was the best yet.
This is a chocolate cake and bc icing, the roses were made ahead of time so that is why there is a difference in the color. Not happy about that but will never make the same mistake twice. The centre has stawberry jam. Everyone love it.
This cake is made with boiled icing and topped with Royal Icing Lilies.
