The flowers are made out of fondant; the white flower is royal icing. The dress, pastillage.
This isn't much of a decorated cake, but the red and white are pretty, I thought. I also made the wedding dress out of pastillage (inspired by chleonard, thank you!!) Wish I had planned it out a little more, but the bride-to-be loved it.
Here is the front of my jungle cake.
I made this for my kids' birthday - Diego is a FBCT; trees are pretzel rods with BC as leaves; dirt is crushed oreos and animals are plastic. The white spots could have been filled in, but I didn't notice them until the day of the party.
I made this for my daughter's baptism. Both cakes were chocolate - I used regular buttercream for the smaller one; rolled buttercream for the big one (what a nightmare!) Cala lillies and the crosses were made out of gumpaste; the roses are royal icing.
