Last minute cake made for our retiring school principal (who was fantastic!!). Stacked cakes, ganached, fondant covered, biscuits for roof tiles. Edible image is of a wall in the school featuring a stunning Tashi painting by Tashi artist Kim Gamble. Figurines represent the principal reading to a little schoolgirl sitting on the bench that is located in front of the mural. Little girl has a lunch box filled with tiny teddy biscuits and there are the principal's favourite books scattered around. This cake could have been a lot neater but I was running short of time.

I made this cake for my daughter's 5th birthday - she wanted a disco princess pary so I tried to combine the ideas using a disco ball and tiara. It is a square mudcake covered in hot pink fondant. On top is a disco ball sculpted from cake and covered in grey fondant strips then sprinkled with disco glitter. I used a bought tiara on top as I ran out of time to make a royal icing one! I made matching cupcakes and used edible sugar diamons on to p of some of them( I LOVE these sugar diamonds - they are so pretty).

I made these for my daughter to take to preschool for her 5th birthday. The cakes were made from leftover cake from her main Felicity Wishes cake (posted on cakecentral yesterday). I cut the remaining cake into even rectangles, covered them with fondant and placed a fondant butterfly on each. Edible glitter is used on the centre of each. Toadstool and fairy candles to decorate.

I copied this from Aine 2's gorgeous cake. I can only aspire to be anywhere near as good as Aine2. I had difficulty with the handle and fifi's shoulders. Fifi should be about half the size that she turned out.
