Hummer in camouflage colors... rear view shows taillights made from red & orange M&Ms.
Double choc cake, triple fudge filling, BC frosting in camouflage colors. The colors did not come out quite right... I couldn't get black, so, I settled for an odd shade of green. The colors were supposed to be muted, not quite so bright. I tried to copy a picture of a real Hummer for shape and design (windows, grill, sideboard, bumpers, etc). A friend wants to buy a Hummer painted in camouflage colors... so, we gave him this instead! :-)
2-tier bridal shower cake - white BC frosting with light pink flowers and yellow centers.
This is the first birthday cake for a friend's twin boys. It is a 1/2 sheet cake and took a lot more icing than I originally anticipated. I think I used a total of 7 batches of buttercream icing (I lost count around 5).
My second try using fondant. Same design, different color. Fondant is a lot of work, but, it is not bad to work with so far.
'Gift Box' cake covered and decorated in fondant.
