I made this for an office potluck, but it could really be for any occasion - birthday, groom's cake, or just because. This is a french vanilla cake with chocolate hazelnut icing.

I made 1 cookie in the shape of Darth Vader. I didnt have a cookie cutter, so I molded it by hand and it turned out perfect. I made rolled buttercream to ice it, and piped the rest with grey BC. This looked really cute before it landed in the floor on the way to my cousin's b-day party. He loved it anyway, and I snapped a quick pic before it was devoured.
This was my first ever cake. I made this for my co-worker's 50th birthday. I got tons of compliments and the cake tasted wonderful.
