Army Camo Tank
2- 8" square and 6" round carved to "tank" shape. BC frosting on yellow cake. Cake was also camo inside. I took out about 2 cups of batter and colored them green & brown and did random spots and carefully pushed it around so it wouldn't be as marbled. Fun cake for my son's 7th birthday. Thanks for looking

New Butterflies
Choc. Cake, choc frosting, fruit and white choc. bark butterflies. I found a pretty butterfly on a greeting card and followed the outline. Love the way they turned out and my friend was pleased. I look at EVERYTHING from cards to clothes, etc. and get ideas and think, "hmmmm, that would look good on a cake!"

Nana's Bluebonnets
6" 2-layer Yellow cake w/ B/C frosting. For my Grandmother's birthday. Wanted to surprise her but had to do a small cake since she is diabetic. She loved the bluebonnets. Hope to get better with these but I guess they're okay. It's not easy to find how to do some of the more unusual flowers.

Fbct Horses
Had several design elements to work with. The main thing being horses and customer asked if I could have them resemble their 3 horses. She also gave me a napkin for color choices. I had taken a picture of a little girls shirt for the main horse design several months ago. This was fun. White cake w/ choc and B/C fostings and disco dust.

Chocolate Butterflies & Strawberries
Used mini WM pan for "individual" choc cakes to celebrate 3 friends bdays. Used melted choc coating for butterflies-piped onto waxed paper after cooling choc. a bit. then put in fridge and used other for dipped strawberries. Iced cakes and spaced w/center open for pile of dipped strawberries. Placed butterflies and more strawberries and of course a dash of glitter! Fun, easy and very quick.

Deer Cake
1st disaster! Yellow/Choc cake w/BC. Antlers are foil wrapped wire covered in melted choc. Left antler leaned a bit and after about 40 min. gravity took over and deer did a nose dive. I was able to get it set back up w/out antlers. Customer was really great about and someone joked that he got a buck & a doe for the price of one! Lesson learned- this was my first deer and now I know where to support differently. Got GREAT directions from boween after I did this one-may try hers next time!
