My Aiyeeee! Cake
I meant to put traditional Mongolian wedding symbols on the sides, but for some reason this cake (a gift) refused to rise (aiyee!), the icing was too soft (aiyeeee!), & i ran out of time (aiyeeeeeeee!). Almost moaned over massive fondant folds, its plainness & unevenness, but remembered the CC Commandment: "Thou shalt not point out thy cake's faults to the recipient," so I didn't & instead got compliments on the "pillowy" look, Muahahaha! (It's mmf over banana choc; artificial pearls, polymer clay topper.)

Primitive Cake
No particular skill needed, that's why it's primitive! ;-p A "welcome to your new home" banana cake for my new neighbor. Just a MMF Mongolian ger (yurt); as there was no time to make BC and the cake didn't seeem sweet enough, I slapped on Danish strawberry jam. Helped keep the cake moist, too. Things are pretty dry over here.

Top Tier Of Wedding Cake
White fondant over fruitcake, baked by the bride (the first wedding cake she'd ever done). Decorated with fondant bluebirds and lab (her dog), custom-made ploymer clay topper (looks just like the wedding couple, down to clothes and hairstyles!). Non-edible pearls. I gotta use something nicer than al foil next time. ;p
