Blue And Silver
This cake has a diamond impression on two tiers with pearls that I airbrushed silver. The middle tier is plain with a silver and blue ribbon wrapped around it. The cake topper is crystals on wire with gumpaste day lillies to hide the floral picks with hot glue to get the crystals to stay.

Cowboy Sunset
I am not a big fan of decorating sheet cakes, but when a client lets me have fun with the theme, I think they can be pretty great. This cake was for a western theme family reunion. Strawberry cake with buttercream icing. I just free handed the piping and smoothed to blend. I wanted a rough look, not too perfect. I am happy with the results.

Shabby Chic
The bride called me the week before her wedding and asked for a cake with royal blue and yellow. She let me come up with the design. I just love the simplicity of the fondant petals all over the cake with a few splashes of royal icing pansies and violets in the requested colors. The cake is only 2 tiers, but I think even for a very simple wedding this made a great center piece.

Daisies In Spring
Each tier is frosted in Butter Cream and set on an angle. The Daisies are Fondant. Each tier also had a different flavor of cake and filling: Chocolate w/raspberry filling, Yellow w/ key lime mouse, white w/ pastry cream, and Marble with cookies and cream filling. I am still trying to perfect the picture perfect smooth butter cream icing.

Derailed Strawberry Train
I derailed this train so I could have enough chocolate dipped strawberries to feed all of the guests at the wedding. There is candied pecans for the ballasts and chocolate licorice for the tracks. I used sugar cookies for the wheels. This was a hit at the wedding. I had a blast designing it and putting it together.
