Bride made my life rough on this cake, she changed her mind several times, the last time being the day I was to bake her cake. She first wanted me to make $200 worth of cake but the day I set out to make it she changed her mind and went with this small square 3 layer cake. She wanted peanut butter frosting which I will not use in decorating cause I could not get it smooth for the life of me. The cake stand is a piece of birch wood that a friend cut down for me the day I set the cake up.

The bride wanted all white roses with white swiss dots. She ordered the flowers off e-bay and they came in the day before I needed them. They were not what she wanted, they were dirty and looked cheap. This wedding was a big fancy event so the bride was heartbroken. I had a rough time getting the look she wanted. She wanted full open roses that would fill up the spaces, these were rose buds. The heat and the moving made 2 layers shift on me so on some views they look off center. Happy Baking Joy

Cupcake Wedding Cake
The customer wanted a cupcake wedding cake done in light purple, yellow and white. She wanted 2 side cakes, one for cutting and one for the one year anniversary. I had posted for help with ideas for this cake in may 2005. I made 104 cupcakes and 125 royal pansys. The pansys dried for several days then I hand painted them with wilton violet paste. The pearls on the cakes are from the bride and are fake. All are done in white buttercream. This was my first cupcake wedding cake and I hope not my last.
