this cake was for a 50th anniversary. all decorations are edible. the couple shared a love of music. the husband played a grand piano and the wife sang. All figures and decorations are made out or gumpaste. Made umbrellas using Wilton ball cake pan for umbrella tops with a hole in the top middle large enough for inserting a wooden shish kabob skewer later. After the tops dried, inserted wooden shish kabob skewer and secured it to umbrella top with more gumpaste and let that dry.
Crown is made out of gumpaste, wheels are made out of gumpaste.

The cake part is a 10 inch square. The rest of the decorations which are the gold topped turrets were made by wrapping a rectangular piece of gumpaste around a PBC or 2.5 to 3 inch diameter plastic plumbing pipe, letting it dry, removing it, then filling the center of it with almost room temperature rice krispy treats. the gold top of the turret was made by wrapping an ice cream cone with fondant strips, letting that dry, then painting with gold luster dust mixed with lemon extract. After that, I attached the gold top to the pink bottom with royal icing. I also made another turret using a drinking glass for the bottom of the turret but the same steps.

Indiana Jones wedding cake - fedora hat and satchel are rice krispy treats covered with gumpaste. All other decorations are gumpaste. Each tier looks like shipping crates - covered in fondant and dusted with brown petal dust. Nails heads on shipping crates are painted with silver luster dust mixed with lemon extract.
