This cake I made along with the Bridal doll cake. This was the cake we ate allowing the bride-to-be to take home the bridal doll cake for her and her fiance. Everyone loved the cake. Vanilla with vanilla BC and MMF chocolate fondant accents with gold dragees. The brides colours for her bridesmaids are in the shades of brown so that is why the flowers are brown.

I made this cake for a girl at work that I played golf with last year. She found out that the reason she couldn't eat cake (flour, wheat, pasta, etc) was because she had cancer in her bowel. Well, she is better now and can eat cake so this one is for her. It is chocolate with BC icing. The frog is made of BC and he has his leg stuck out blocking the ball from the hole. I found that the green colour doesn't come out well in the picture, so the caption reads, "Why our balls don't go in!"...
I know around here that the leaves haven't really started turning yet, but I kind of wanted to do a fall cake and a back to school cake all in one. It is all BC except for the little leaf shaped candies. I really like how this one turned out. This cake was inspired from ones I saw here at CC.
Just practicing with my new stencil...thought the rosebuds came out pretty good.

A 6" and a 4" cake...my first time using MMF...I didn't do such a good job on it. I think it was too thick and heavy for the cake. Got the picture before it fell...
4 firsts for this cake. This was my first time doing Cornelli lace, my first two-tier and gumpaste daisies and using WBH icing.

I made this for my neice whose birthday is 2 days after my daughters. It was just for fun. Chocolate cake with BC including the frog.
Ok don't laugh...ok, go ahead. I don't mind. I laughed all the way through this one. I bought the large cupcake pan with the thought of doing mini flower pot cakes. Well, as you can see, it didn't really work out. I used cream cheese icing which was mistake #1. The second mistake was that I put too much on it. Luckily just after I took this picture, it toppled over. It is even uglier than my lipstick cake...LOL.
My 4 year old loves SS, so I got the pan...It was alot harder than I thought it would be. All BC except I didn't have any brown icing to do the eyes and the dots on the strawberry so I used brown gel icing. She loved it. It is a Rainbow Sprinkle cake mix. I was going to torte it then decided not to...I just didn't want to wreck it.
I made this to practice my flowers. I used crusting cream cheese icing, but it was alittle too thin. I have decided that cream cheese just doesn't do as good a job as BC...it just tastes better.
This was for the Wilton 1 course. It's hard to see (I should have used different shades of green but I didn't have time) but it's a frog sitting on a heart-shaped lilypad.
This was for one of the Wilton classes. The infamous clown cake. I found these champagne bottle candles so decided to make drunken clowns. I really liked this cake. The one with the orange gel is puking and the one sitting on the edge of the cake was peeing over the edge in yellow gel. I had a blast making this one. It was French Vanilla with BC icing.

This was my first 11x15 cake...it was very difficult to do. Cake is chocolate with buttercream icing. I think it would have been better looking if I had been brave enough to do the FBCT. I had fun doing it though and was proud of how it turned out.
