Brigitte's Baby Shower With Michael
This was the cake I made for my sister's baby shower with her 3rd child. She had already had 2 girls and was done having kids! Ooops....see what happens when you fool around! lol I found this idea on cc and thought it was so fitting for her! But she did get her boy out of it and he is the most precious baby! White cake w/BC except the baby topper. -February 2008

Las Vegas Wedding
A co-worker asked me to make a small cake (for like 5 people!) for her friend who went to Vegas for the weekend to get married. This is what I came up with. It is white cake iced in BC & decorated with real poker chips, dice & playing cards. Originally I was going to be paid for this but I ended up giving it to her for free since she traded Saturdays at work with me so I could be with my friend who came in from out of state! We both benefited from this creation! She loved it!!!

Care Bears Castle
This is still my all time favorite cake! The cake itself is a blue & white checkerboard cake. The Care Bear castle is all edible. It's made with small cakes, strawberry rolls & ice cream cones. All covered in BC. The only things that aren't edible are the Care Bear Candles and the rainbow which I used from a playset. This was for my niece's 3rd birthday and she loved it!!! I love it too!!!!

Black & White Wedding
This was done for my sister's best friend's wedding. I did this as a wedding gift for her. The cake is white cake iced in BC. I made the topper out of silk white roses, small blak flowers, & black & white sheer ribbon which matched the bridal bouquets that I made. They loved the cake and I was pleased with it.

Go Diego Go!
Another BCT! I'm addicted to them now! This is a white cake (swirled with cake tinted orange) and iced all in BC. I used some luster dust on the top of cake before adding BCT & tree. The top border is done in different colored green leaves and the bottom border was done in grass. My customer just asked for Diego with baby jaguar so this is what I came up with. I was very pleased and so was she!

Bratz
This a a yellow square cake with yellow star stacked. All iced in BC. The Bratz doll was my first attempt at a BCT! I am very pleased with the way it turned out and so was the customer! Using BCT 's are very easy and it makes your cake look very intricate! I love it!! Will try it again soon!!!!

Strawberry Shortcake
This was my first attempt at hommade Angel food cake but it turned out more like pound cake or shortcake! There is a filling trenched in both layers of strawberries & glaze. The icing is whip cream & cream cheese. Topped with fresh strawberries. I didn't like the cake but after the co-workers party, it seemed to be a big hit! So, I think I like it now :) This was an attempt to recreate a cake her mother used to make for her as a child.

Justin's Star Wars Cake
This is a 2 layer, 2 tiered yellow cake. I used chocolate icing which I added black. This was great because I got the black colored icing without the icky taste of all that black added to white BC! I added star wars action figures & the ship. I also used candy sprinkle stars. The birthday boy loved it! Another cake I flew to Cali to make!! :)

Grandpa's 80Th Birthday
This cake was a vision in my mind. The "8" is chocolate and the "0" is white cake iced in BC and hand carved from a sheet cake. The cactus were done with royal icing. The cake was sprayed red instead of coloring the icing red. I thought this would taste better and it did but I wasn't impressed with the look of the color. I tried to make rope on the bottom of the cake with BC. This was made for his suprise 80th western party. We all wore bandana's and cowboy hats. He was suprised and everyone loved the cake!

My Dad's Wedding Cake
This cake was made for my Dad's wedding a few years ago. I think it was white cake. It was decorated in BC. The color's were pink and purple (not my favorite!) and had a western theme (again, not my favorite). Everyone loved the cake. The grooms cake was not made by me (store bought).
