This is the first Dora cake I did. Have had many request from this picture.
I was asked to create a cake for the ordination of our associate pastor. I could not find too many sheet cakes with any designs on them that would seem fitting for this celebration, so I came up with this one. Everyone was so pleased and complimentary. I am really proud of this one, it was really satisfying to express the true meaning of the celebration on top of a cake. Thanks for looking.
Here is the picture of the semi cake I made a few years ago. The smoke stacks are straws covered in icing and small silver ball candies to give it the "chrome" look. It was a challenging cake since I had not been decorating long, but I was pleased with the outcome.
This was my first wedding cake that I decorated. Even though the customer was a little nutty, it turned out in the end. It also was a little sentimental to me. My grandmother who decorated cakes for over 20 years provided me with much needed advice and assistance. She is now unable to decorated due to health problems so this was to be our only work together. Those ones are priceless!!!

This cake was made for a girl that had picked lavendar and silver as her colors. It was to be a small family shower so I just did one layer.
