This was a stacked cake, decorated in BC, with Choc Transfer figures. They party was decked out in "Thomas the Tank" but the parent didnt want a Thomas cake, just your basic train them.
I made12 giant heart cookies stacked/layer 3 high with BC in the middle and decorated the top piece in RI & BC. 8 smaller cookies were regular sized hearts stacked/layer 2 high, used 2 round cookies for the centers. This was for a class party, 28 students. I cut the giant cookies in half for the students and the smaller cookies served whole. Everyone including teachers/parents had a serving, and some was left over. This would work for a Spring theme too.
This was an awesome cake---thanks to CC members for their help. I baked a 1/2 sheet with two ball pans inside filled w/water (for weight) so the bowls would be perfectly round. Covered the top in fondant--this was great since the kids could really use their tech decks on top!

Everything was edible with the exception of the green plate I had the tacos on and the tray. Thanks to ctorno for your help and the many photos I've seen on CC. Instead of making the chips out of fondant I fried flour tortillas & sprinkled w/cinn & sugar. The bowls were covered in fondant ----

This is a cake that I did for a boy turning 8yrs. This cake was "word for word" what he wanted :)
Thanks to melissa043 and sarsi for all of your help! This is pretty simple once you get the correct mylar/transparancy paper (for the chocolate wrap). I used 3 different sized soup/spaghetti cans, frosted, choc wrap and sugar glaze (for the wax).

Thanks to Britt (brmoore)---I used a 1/2 sheet pan for the base, tube pan for the volcano the cake part of the volcano was covered in rice crispy treats for a mountain terrain look.
I used 10in for the bottom and 6in for the top. The Strawberry Topper was the mini wonder mold pan.
