I got this idea from the Wilton Yearbook - it was ironic, in the book the name on the cake was Alyssa as well and that is my nieces name, she loved the cake. I made my balloons too big and I used a different size pan than the book but I think that it turned out quite well for making a few minor mistakes.
I made this cake for my boyfriend for his birthday - he loves the Eagles and the Yankees! It was about 100 degrees outside and my son was not cooperating with me that day - the colors were running!
